Click "Install App" in the Shopify App Store. The admin setup dashboard will load automatically.

Click "Sync Catalog Now" on the admin dashboard. Findly will index your active products and variant stock statuses.

Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize. Click "Add block" or "Add section", select Findly AI, and save your theme.

Does it work with my custom Shopify theme?

Yes. Findly uses Shopify App Blocks (Online Store 2.0). It injects widgets natively into any theme container without breaking layouts or overriding theme styles.

How long does catalog sync take?

Initial synchronization takes between 2 to 5 minutes for a catalog of 500 products. Once the initial index is built, any edits, additions, or deletions update instantly via background webhooks.

Does the widget slow down my page load speed?

Not at all. The storefront script is extremely lightweight, loaded asynchronously, and runs outside your main critical rendering path, ensuring zero impact on your Lighthouse scores.

What languages does the AI search support?

The system relies on multi-lingual vector models. Shoppers can describe what they want in English, Spanish, French, German, and 15+ other languages, and the AI will correctly align it to your products.

What happens to my data after I uninstall?

Uninstalling is completely clean. We do not modify your theme files directly, so no residual template files remain on your storefront. Your product sync logs and vector index are securely deleted from our databases.

Can I customize the widget colors to match my brand?

Absolutely. You can customize the widget accent colors, headers, subheadings, and search input placeholders directly within Shopify's Theme Editor App Block settings.

Do my shoppers' queries get stored?

Yes, we log recommendation queries to populate your dashboard's analytics panel so you can see search trends, but we never store any personally identifiable information (PII) of shoppers.

How do search query limits work across subscription plans?

Every search query typed by a shopper counts toward your monthly limit. The Free plan includes 50 queries/month. Upgrading to Growth unlocks 500 queries/month and advanced conversion analytics, while Pro offers unlimited queries.
